HISTORIC OPEN GARDEN Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th January – The historic Delatite Station will open its beautiful gardens to the public over the Australia Day weekend. There will be plants for sale.
Open Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am – 4.00pm in Delatite Lane, Mansfield.
Cost is $5.00 per person. No dogs allowed.

LIVE MUSIC Saturday 24th January – Back by popular demand! Head out to the Bonnie Doon Hotel
this Australia Day weekend and enjoy live music with the brilliant five piece band, Gravity
performing all of your favourite dance hits. Dinner is available from 6pm with the music
commencing from 8.30pm. Weather permitting this will be an open air event. No cover charge.

AUSTRALIA DAY CEREMONY & AWARDS Monday 26th January – Join in the Australia Day celebrations from 8.30am in High Street Mansfield. The day kicks off with a sausage sizzle, champagne breakfast & live entertainment.
At 9.00am David Roff, Mansfield Shire’s Chief Executive Officer will welcome the Australia Day
Ambassador, Dr Stephen Silk and the official party, and will announce proceedings. Following
this will be the Mayor, Cr Sandie Jeffcoat’s official welcome. Citizenship Ceremony and

MT BULLER BEERFEST Saturday 31st January – Mt Buller is chilling its kegs and polishing the taps for its annual beer festival. Now in its third year, the Beerfest will be held in the Village Square providing you

MT BULLER CHAMBER MUSIC Friday 23rd – Saturday 24th January – Chamber Music at Mt Buller
The Chamber Music Summer School provides tuition by a wealth of Master Musicians to string
quartets, quintets and trios. And not just to the students benefit! The tutors will host a free recital
on the Friday at 8.30pm in the Mt Buller Alpine Chapel. The students will also host a free

ART & CRAFT SHOW Friday 23rd – Saturday 24th January – Mansfield Boat Club in Goughs Bay presents their 4th annual Community Art & Craft Show. Come and admire, even purchase fantastic arts & craft created by the local community whilst taking in the beautiful views of Lake Eildon from the
boat club verandah. The opening night is on Friday from 5.00pm and includes a complimentary

NEW YEAR’S DAY RACES Thursday 1st January – Kick off 2009 with a day out at the Merton Picnic Races. Plenty of fun for everyone with Fashions on the Field, Bookmakers, local wines, a Publicans Booth (BYO is also permitted), light refreshments and kids activities. This is an entertaining day for the whole

Mt Buller has been chosen to host the inaugural Australian All Tomorrows Parties music festival.
All Tomorrows Parties events are renowned for their eclectic and unique lineups and Mt Buller
promises to be no exception. Heading the line up is arguably the most significant Australian
export of the last twenty years, NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS, with very special guests The
Saints and the Dirty Three. Enjoy music performed by more than 30 bands over three stages.

CATTLEMAN’S GET TOGETHER Friday 9th – Sunday 11th January – The Mountain Cattleman’s Get Together is coming our way this year. Head out to Buttercup Road in Merrijig for the Reunion of the Cracks from the Man from Snowy River movies, including Tom Burlinson, Sigrid Thornton and other cast
members. There is a huge list of events such as the Cattleman’s Cup, Packhorse
Championships, Bucking Bull, Wood Chop, Heritage Displays, Johnny the Bull - and these are
just to name a few. There will be some great fun stuff for the kids too. Enjoy evening entertainment
with the Aaron Daniels Band who will perform a blend of rock & blues over two nights. The
weekend will wind down to the sounds of local musician Sean Cartlidge. Full bar facilities and
